Lucky 13th edition !

Innovact 2009, the 13th edition of the event, had to find the best compromises to use every square meter of the Reims convention centre to satisfy the very high demand from the 272 exhibiting corporate brands and 200 young innovative enterprises present, which attracted 2,300 participants during the 2 days of the forum. The challenge was clearly met, with a luminous and very open exhibition area, reflecting the spirit of the event: “a very beautiful event – superbly organised” according to Olivier Sanviti, an associate lawyer with Gramond & Associés, and a practical workshop leader.

Like every previous edition, Innovact 2009 was recognised for the quality of contacts, thanks to very concrete and well attended workshops and conferences, completely new events like the launch of the Matéralia cluster and the first FING ‘Carrefour des Possibles’ organised in Champagne-Ardenne … and, of course, the system of business meetings pre-organised online. “This was a terrific vintage and the intense nature of the debates reflected the quality of the panel. Thank you for the great richness of our exchanges. You can count on L’Entreprise for next year!”, said Arnaud Legal, Chief Editor of L’Entreprise, a partner and member of the European Hopes for Innovation Trophies jury.

A distinctive sign of Innovact was a convivial atmosphere that has remained constant even in a period of crisis: a real “wind” of optimism blew through Reims and the participants during these 2 days of active and optimistic exchanges.

A large part of this success is the integration of Innovact in a network of innovation featuring very active players in Europe involved in this event, which the members consider to be the only forum of its kind in Europe: an event completely dedicated to innovative entrepreneurs, transversal in terms of fields of activity. As a partner of this 2009 edition, Luuk Borg, Director of the Eureka Secretariat, underlines the federative aspect of Innovact which once again gathered all the best young innovative entreprises from Europe !
