What is the FING?
Catalyst for innovation
Created in 2000 by a team of entrepreneurs and experts, the Fing (Fondation pour l’internet nouvelle génération) aims to identify, stimulate and highlight innovation in digital services and usages. This project is a network, a think tank, a space for the creation and exchange of new ideas and a meeting place with innovation and innovators.
Monitoring and prospecting for technologies, services, usages and the main priorities where society, economy and technology meet.
Detection, highlighting and networking for innovation and innovators.
The two key events in the project are the "Carrefour des Possibles" and the "Mobile Monday".
«Think tank» and«Do tank», exploring future challenges and opportunities, bringing together companies, public authorities, social actors and creators, entrepreneurs, researchers and students around key issues for society.

Can you tell me about the "Carrefour des Possibles"?
This regular meeting works to the benefit of innovators and users of information and communications’ technologies. This is a means of discovering new uses of ICT, promoting contacts and stimulating creativity.
Encouraging creativity with a wide variety of projects in all sectors
Triggering innovation by uniting different actors
The Carrefour des Possibles is a innovator-friendly process: identification, briefing, training in communication on uses, public presentations, joining of an international network.
Current figures, 52 editions, 1000+ projects identified, 520 projects selected, 9000 participants.
Five appointments per year in Ile de France. Development of a network in the regions of Rhône-Alpes, Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, Brittany, Limousin, Languedoc-Roussillon, Pays de la Loire, Picardie, Aquitaine, Lower Normandy, etc.
